Requiem of the Rose King Part 1 contains episodes 1-12 of the anime directed by Kentarō Suzuki. The Wars of the Roses grip medieval England as the houses of York and Lancaster vie for the throne. Richard’s father, the Duke of York, plans to take the crown. Richard wants nothing more than for this to happen, but all the while struggles with a secret.
