Takeshi Hongo, a young scientist, is abducted by an evil organization called Shocker and surgically altered to become Kamen RIder 1, a grasshopper-like cyborg designed to fight in their vanguard. When Takeshi comes to his senses, he is now considered a traitor and targeted for assassination by a newly-created cyborg– Kamen Rider 2! (90 mins.)
KAMEN RIDER – THE NEXT (2007) Extended Version
A North American premiere! A murder spree rages where victims are found with their faces horribly mutilated. According to an urban legend, every time a certain song by pop idol Chiharu is played, another dead body turns up! When Takeshi Hongo discovers a Chiharu imposter with a disfigured face, he is resolved to stop the killings! This entry in the series was controversial amongst the fans for its injection of graphic J-Horror elements. (133 mins.)
