Ani is concerned with his troubled step-sister Kasumi who appears disheveled and severely introverted. When his girlfriend cancels a restaurant reservation, Ani invites Kasumi to dinner in an attempt to get her out of the house in the hopes of alleviating her deep depression. Surprisingly, they begin to develop and express deep feelings for one another. Satoshi can’t understand why Chinatsu always pouts and never seems to find fun and enjoyment in their new relationship. With the help of her little sister, Satoshi is determined to make Chinatsu crack a smile. Makoto and Kouichi are distant cousins and childhood friends who had a falling out in the past.
